Artist's Comments
To those of you who played two or more Final Fantasy games... you knw that they always have a 'Cid' character ever since FFII, right? And since I love doing these character 'anthologies' (like the Moogles one), I went and tried to look for every single Cid character in all the Final Fantasy games (and then some...). I found 15 total... from Final Fantasy II to X, Tactics, Tactics Advance, Spirits Within (the movie), Unlimited (the anime), Kingdom Hearts and Chocobo's mysterious dungeon. The drew the Cids wearing little tags that say where they're from... but you have to squint a bit ^_^'
I know that the Cid from KH and FFVII are the same, but since they have different costumes, I treated them as separate characters. What do the Cids do when they convene? Well, since most of them are engineers... I drew them building a mecha chocobo. My favorite has to be 6...I always thought that Cid was so cute! Plus 6 is most definetly my fav Final Fantasy...so far
